With Love ❤️

Recently, some of our Forrest Fresh team had the honour of restoring our beautiful Catholic church back to its former glory.

This church holds such a special place in my heart. In 2017, Jeff and I were married there, and both of our girls were baptised within its walls.

Our wedding was the first held there in 15 years—and none have taken place since.

The church continues to serve our small community, hosting mass and funerals, making what happened even more heartbreaking.

I was beyond upset to walk in and see the devastation left behind by young vandals who had broken in and discharged a fire extinguisher throughout the building.

Sadly, the church had to close for a period while authorities carried out their investigations. Once cleared, a deep and careful clean was needed to ensure it was safe for everyone again.

Our Forrest Fresh Domestic Assistance Team worked tirelessly for hours to remove the toxic residue and restore the charm and character of this gorgeous building.

We feel incredibly humbled and honoured to have been trusted with such a meaningful task.

As this is a not-for-profit organisation that supports our community, this was something we did purely for love. ❤️
